People with credibility and resources are so busy trying to hold onto them that they fail to bring their provocative ideas to the world.
Do what you love. If you aren’t successful at it, at least at the end of your life you will have done something you enjoyed. The worst alternative is compromising, and doing something you don’t love… and what happens if you fail at that? You will die having failed at something you hate.
